Marinas
Less than a 1/2 mile down the road are two marinas (both within walking and/or bike riding distance). Both offer charter fishing, scuba diving and boat slips. O.C. Fisherman's Marina offers a free public boat launch with free parking - the only one in West OC!
Boardwalk & Pier
Ocean City Boardwalk and Pier is approximately 2 miles away. The condo is conveniently located less than .5 miles to the park and ride where you can hop on a bus that will take you across the bridge and up and down the Ocean City's coast line.
Shopping
If shopping is your thing, less than 1/2 mile from the condo is Tanger Outlets, Funky Monkey, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works - just to name a few! The unit is also conveniently located to Food Lion and Wal Mart. Go-Karts and a water park are also right down the street!
Local Beach
West Ocean City has a local park with a small beach that locals refer to as "stinky beach" - and no it doesn't stink! Full disclosure parking can be tough but its a quick bike ride.
The OC drawbridge is less than 1 mile from the condo where you can fish and watch the bay.
Assateague Island
Assateague island is approximately 8 miles away. You can visit the pony's, fish, kayak, or just enjoy a walk on the beach. There is a public fee free entry and a fee entry part of the beach. Get there early as it’s a popular destination.
